Women in the Mix: Hip Hop’s Voices, Beats & Breakthroughs
Tuesday April 8th | 5PM | Outdoors amphitheater
Sandwiched between the transition of Women's history month and International Black Women's history month, on April 8th at 5 PM we’re turning up to celebrate the women who run the mic, the mix, and the movement! Join us at the outdoor amphitheater for a celebration of women-identifying artists shaping hip hop culture.
This event brings together voices from behind the mic and behind the boards, featuring a conversation between Angela Piva, a groundbreaking audio/mix engineer and producer who has worked with legends like Queen Latifah and Mary J. Blige and Audry Funk, a Mexican Bronx-based hip hop artist known for her activism and unique blend of multi-cultural sensibilities. The night ends with a live performance by Audry and DJ KayKay47!
Come celebrate the voices, beats, and stories that continue to push hip hop forward!  #WomenInTheMix #HipHopVoices #BronxBeats
This event is free but it helps if you register through this link.
