Ti-Jean and His Brothers is Nobel Prize-winning author Derek Walcott’s Caribbean folk tale told in the form of a dance/theatre performance that is at once a musical, a comedy, a drama, an adventure, a mystery, and a horror story. With music composed by the legendary Andre Tanker, this production features live music, song, and dance in a musical fable where animals come to life to tell the tale of human struggles both physical and spiritual set on a fictional Caribbean island. Ti-Jean and His Brothers is a collaboration between the theatre and dance programs featuring Lehman’s own professors of theatre and dance – directed by Rick DesRochers and choreographed by Michael Manswell – and is sure to delight audiences of all ages!
