Third Annual CUNY BEAT BATTLE

Location: Carman Hall - CA, Multimedia Center
Audience: Alumni, Faculty, Friend of Lehman, Graduate Students, Parents, Prospective Students, Staff, Students, Transfer Students
Admission: Free!
On April 1, 2025 at 5:00pm on the campus of Lehman College Multimedia Center, Carman Hall, for THE THIRD ANNUAL CUNY BEAT BATTLE begins another showdown between Hostos, Lehman (reigning 2-time champion), and other CUNY Audio Clubs. They will compete for the title of Best Producer. This competition will see paired producers going head to head as they race against the clock to produce the best beat. Each team will be given the same music samples and asked to put together a track within the limited time frame! Past judges have included Grand Master Melle Mel, Denzil Porter, and Another Vgn. This will be aired on BronxNet TV and streamed from the Multimedia Center, Lehman College and other CUNY websites. It will also be taped in front of an invited studio audience who will be participating by casting their votes for their favorite beats.
