LEHMAN COLLEGE CHAMBER PLAYERS KICKOFF SEASON WITH FREE CONCERT

 

Performances of Works by Beethoven, Turina, and Dvořák.

The program will feature a variety of works including Beethoven’s brilliant “Sonata for Cello and Piano in G minor,” as well as trios for violin, cello and piano, including a Spanish-influenced work by Turina and a lively folkloric piece by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák.

Members of the Lehman Chamber Players include critically acclaimed violinist Emilie-Anne Gendron, concertmaster of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra; cellist Hamilton Berry, a member of the Grammy-nominated Public Quartet, and pianist Diana Mittler-Battipaglia, professor and chair of the Music Department and choral director at Lehman College.
