The Office of Compliance and Diversity cordially invites you to attend a workshop on Disrupting Micro (Macro) Aggressions: Promoting Awareness, Understanding Intersectionality, and Creating Dialogue Among the Higher Education Community, on Monday, March 25 from 3 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.

This workshop will be facilitated by Chair of Lehman's Social Work Department Brenda Williams-Gray, Lehman Assistant Professor Cindy Bautista-Thomas, and from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, Jermaine Monk.

1. Introduction to the literature & concepts associated with micro/macroaggressions.

2. Increase awareness of the various forms micro/macroaggressions in higher education.

4. To provide strategies and opportunities to enhance your capacity to address the messiness & discomfort of
    micro/macroaggressions in higher education

5. How to disrupt toxic environments through resiliency and organizational accountability.
