Biography

Harriet Fayne

Dr. Fayne has spent close to four decades in higher education, most of them in an administrative capacity. She has served as a department chair, dean, and interim provost. Throughout her career, she has been interested in instructional design and performance assessment in K-12 and teacher education. She has authored over 25 journal articles and book chapters and is a regular presenter at regional and national education conferences. Currently, Dr. Fayne is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, Literacy and Special Education. Dr. Fayne holds an undergraduate degree from Barnard College, a master's degree from Harvard University, and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
