Malik is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Lehman College, The City University of New York (CUNY). He is a CPA in the State of New York and has been a member of the Adjunct Faculty since 2016. Malik is also a Financial Crimes Executive at one of the largest US Banks, where he helps fight Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. Prior to his banking career, Malik spent several years at Big 4 Accounting Firms; starting with Deloitte as an Auditor and then joining EY, where he was a Senior Manager/Director focused on advising Large Global Financial Institutions and Foreign Banks on auditing, risk management and regulatory compliance matters, inclusive of some high-profile projects that have been in the news. Malik’s professional career also includes working at Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Financial Analyst responsible for managing a multi-billion-dollar Balance Sheet.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Malik is passionate about travel and exploring new places. He is also a fitness and healthy eating enthusiast, often found experimenting with creative recipes to promote a balanced lifestyle.
