The Office of Prestigious Awards (OPA) assists Lehman College students in applying for nationally competitive awards and funding to support their scholarly engagement. The office guides students through all stages of the awards’ application and selection processes.
OPA Advising
Make an appointment with an OPA advisor to identify scholarships, awards, and funded programs that align with your interests.
Get support from your OPA advisor through the entire application process. Your advisor will help you:
- Identify personal scholarly interests and opportunities including graduate school study-abroad, and fellowships
- Work step-by-step through the application process
- Review any application essays
- Proofread applications
- Prepare you for interviews
OPA also works to connect current student applicants with award representatives and past winners so that applicants can obtain deeper insight into specific application processes.
