Effective July 1, 2020, CUNY launched Phase II of the Non-Tax Levy (NTL) CUNYfirst conversion for the college's related entities with the exception of the Foundation. This migration includes the Auxiliary Enterprise Corporation, Student Association for Campus Activities, Art Gallery and the Performing Arts Center. The Student Child Care Center was previously converted on July 1, 2019 as part of the Phase I conversion. Although, the non-tax levy version of CUNYfirst is separate from that of tax levy, its functionality and processes are very similar. The major difference is that all NTL transactions will not interface with the State and will be processed in-house. Similar to tax-levy, all transactions, are visible to CUNY and will allow the University to standardize NTL process across all colleges.
All transactions including purchase requisitions and invoice processing must be entered in the NTL CUNYfirst system.
When logging into CUNYfirst system, the user will need to choose the appropriate Business Unit in which they are transacting and have been given access. The following are the codes for each of the NTL business units.
