Student Teacher and Intern Applications - Due full semester in advance!
Planning to be a Student Teacher or Intern (full-time lead teacher applicant) next semester? Unlike other course approvals, Student Teaching and Intern coursework require official faculty approvals a full semester in advance and applications are submitted in your Lehman 360 account*.
STEP 1: MEET with your Graduate Program Coordinator or Advisor or Undergraduate Education Advisor as soon as possible and no later than the deadlines listed below. Advisor must review your coursework and grades to approve readiness for the student teaching/Intern semester. If you miss the deadlines below, coursework and student teaching/internship will be delayed to another semester.
STEP 2: The SPRING 2025 INTEREST FORM is CLOSED. Contact your Program Advisor. The Student Teaching/Intern Interest Form for Fall 2025 will be posted 02/2025. Visit this page again next semester. We upload your EMPLID to Lehman 360 so you have access to the official Teaching Application form in your own L360 account. PLEASE MEET with your PROGRAM ADVISOR (Step 1) to check your eligibility for student teaching. Are you working full-time in a school (full-time teacher, paraprofessional, other)? Make sure we always know your status.
