Lehman College’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies has an innovative and grass roots-oriented approach to supporting the emerging cannabis entrepreneurs in NYC with the Cannabis Workforce and Business Development Program, grant-funded by NYS Department of Labor.

Centrally located at the Bronx Business Tech Incubator , our program supports newly formed start-up cannabis businesses with free-of-charge business advising, shared workspace, conference room usage, and HyFlex technology that allows state-of-the-art hybrid remote and in-person meeting and presentation capability. Advising, which ranges from basic business planning to the creation of preliminary budget projections and valuations, is combined with information sessions, networking gatherings, and a centralized space for the collaboration of our cannabis entrepreneur members.

In an environment as rapidly changing as cannabis in NY state, one cannot understate the critical importance of business community, and communal information sharing, while respecting friendly competition and camaraderie among members.
