Yes! Although the program caters to Hispanic and Latino students, the program and activities of the CREAR Futuros Program are open to all students, faculty and staff of regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, and other diverse backgrounds.
Students can be a part of many programs or programs as they please. We encourage students to take advantage of resources that elevate their academic success.
Of course! All of the colleges and universities with CREAR Futuros on their campus work closely together! They are, CUNY LaGuardia Community College, CUNY John Jay, CUNY City Tech, CUNY Queens College, SUNY Purchase, SUNY Old Westbury, University of Central Florida, Naugatuck Valley Community College, North Carolina Central University, the Universirt of Illiois Chicago, and most recently, Cal State University, LA.
Of course! If you are selected, you will be a paid mentor! Mentors are usually selected close to the end of Spring semesters. Please reach out to the CREAR Futuros Liaison for more information. Note: must be at least a junior with a 3.5 GPA.
