The 2026 Basile Memorial Lecture in Plant Sciences will be held on Friday, April 24 at 11:00 am (Science Hall 1405). Dr. Zachary Lippman from the Watson School of Biological Sciences at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory will be our distinguished lecturer. The lecture, named for our Plant Sciences colleague, Professor Dominick Basile, highlights our long-standing prominence in Plant Sciences and our 58 years collaboration with the New York Botanical Garden to train students in the CUNY Plant Sciences PhD subprogram of Biology.
