Student Disability Services and Online Accommodations

Student Disability Services (SDS) at Lehman College supports your efforts to make your courses accessible and to provide accommodations, when requested. Below are some of the services available.

• Student Disability Services (SDS) offers a disability statement to be included in your syllabus. 
• Assistive Technology Services have various hardware and software technologies and capabilities available to both you and students. Connect with Access and Technology Specialist, Pedro Laureano for additional information on how you can better support your students. 
• Testing Accommodations are available to students after they submit a Testing Accommodation Request form.

Onsight Proctoring: Proctoring for in-person students with private testing accommodations is held in Shuster 238 or Library 146. Proctors are not in the testing room; they watch via cameras.

Online Proctoring: Online proctoring occurs via the computer video camera.

• The process for students to Obtain Notetakers is outlined here. You may be asked to help procure a peer notetaker.
• Dragon software is only available on Lehman campus computers and cannot be downloaded to student computers.
