Information regarding the 2025 Commencement Ceremony for Faculty & Other Members of the Instructional Staff

Dear Colleagues,

Commencement Day offers our Lehman College community the opportunity to celebrate the conferring of degrees to our graduating student body. We are eager to recognize the unique class of 2025 in two ceremonies; the first will highlight all Graduate students in their own ceremony, taking place on Tuesday, May 27th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lehman Performing Arts Center. Two days later, we will celebrate our Undergraduate class on Thursday, May 29th, at 10:00 a.m. on Lehman's South Field-rain or shine. Please note the information below is a recent update to the Event.  To honor each graduate properly, we will be calling the names of all graduates as they cross the stage. We appreciate your attendance at each ceremony as we take the time to recognize every graduate's hard work and achievement. We expect you to stay until all of the graduates have been called

Undergraduate Ceremony: 
Following Lehman's long-established practice, we anticipate all full-time members of the faculty and administrative officers to take part in the procession in celebration of our students. Instructional staff members, including adjunct professors/lecturers, visiting professors, HEO series staff, and retired faculty, are invited to participate in the academic procession.

Faculty, instructional staff, and administrative officers (not seated on the dais) who will be processing will assemble in the East Dining Room, located on the first floor of the Music Building. There is no rehearsal scheduled. A light breakfast and beverages will be available at 8:30 am; please arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 am. The procession line will form with the assistance of Faculty Marshals in the East Dining Room at approximately 9:15 am.

Academic Regalia for Commencement

If you require academic regalia for Commencement, please email Bookstore Manager Anthony Bruno at 1270mgr@follett.com and include the information listed below. The deadline is April 24^th with no penalties--after this date, expedited shipping will apply. The regalia orders will be available at the Bookstore by May 22nd. Please contact the Bookstore at 718-960-8144 for additional information.
