Welcome to the Department of Earth, Environmental and Geospatial Sciences, a gateway to your career in Earth Science Education, Geography, Geographic Information Science, and in the fields of Environmental Sciences.

Transfer students may begin the Earth Science, Environmental Science, and Geography majors any semester. If you are looking for a career in government, the private sector or in non-profit organizations, from teaching, urban planning, environmental conservation and management, to agriculture, healthcare, industry, business, technology, mining, and so much more, a major available in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Geospatial Sciences is a great option for you!

Next Steps

If you haven’t applied to Lehman College yet, please go to the Admissions Office website for more information on transfer requirements and the application process.

Once you have been accepted, you will receive detailed information from the Admissions Office, regarding the next steps toward becoming enrolled at Lehman. Please note that this process does take some time, so apply to transfer as early as possible! You can schedule a departmental advising session after your transfer credit evaluation (TCE) is complete and you have completed the onboarding process.
