Type of work you do there
Maintaining the GreenHUB database that stores the bureau’s green infrastructure asset data. I make sure that the engineering data, the material specs, and the water-and-sewer shed info are fitting nicely together. I also prepare datasets for NYC Open Data and make infrastructure maps for a handful of city agencies.
Specific accomplishments of which you are most proud
Finishing my degree in a relatively short time and with most of my sanity intact. Being the first person in my family with an advanced degree. The ongoing sense of accomplishment from knowing that the work I do is in furtherance of good causes.

Overall assessment of how Lehman’s EEGS Program prepared you for your current life
The diversity of courses offered was a great help in preparing me for the range of GIS applications that I’ve considered making a career of. Due to the wide net cast by the department, I’m comfortable with the environmental, technological, and human sides of the discipline.
What else have you been up to? Details/news of personal life you would like to share (marriage, children, hobbies, interests, etc.)
Writing and touring for more musical projects than probably makes sense. Currently renovating a house in upstate NY. Co-founded “The Cody Hayes Winslow Project” (thechwproject.org)
