Biography

Michele Hernandez earned her BA in Psychology from St. Francis College and her MA in Counseling from NYACK College. She is the Founder and Owner of Take Courage Counseling, LLC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She has worked in various clinical settings with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her experience has provided her with opportunities to work in community-based settings, crisis settings, inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, servicing English and Spanish Speaking Clients, as well as Faith Based Counseling Services. In addition to this, Michele previously served as an Adjunct Professor with Alliance University in New York City and currently works with both Messiah University and Lehman College as an Adjunct Professor.
