Carman Hall Projects

• HVAC Upgrade (Jan '27 - Jan '28)
  • This project will require most of Carman Hall to be closed beginning January 2027 for one year. Please read our preliminary information on the closure.

• Bathroom Accessibility Improvements (January '26 - May '27)
  • PLEASE NOTE: Subbasement, some first floor, and some third floor restrooms are now closed for renovation work to improve accessibility through July, 2026.
  • Restrooms on the basement and second floor will continue to be open and are accessible by stair and elevator. Additionally, restrooms in CA 102, 106, 314, and 346 will remain open.

• East Main Staircase/Entrance Rebuild COMPLETE
• Plaza Roof Replacement COMPLETE

Shuster Hall

Window Replacement (Estimated Construction Time)

UPDATE: Shuster Hall window replacement is back on track with several offices in the basement and first floor being moved.

• Admissions is now in the former Book Store.
• Enrollment Management is now in Shuster 279.
• Onboard Advising is now in Old Gym 308B.
• Print Shop beginning the week of October 5, will be accessible from Shuster 050.
• Parking Permits are now in Shuster 034.
• IDs are available in the Old Gym B003B.

The following offices remain in their temporary locations:

• Strategic Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research (SPAIR) is in 359.
• Campus Planning and Facilities is in T3 Building, Rooms 219, 221A, and 221B.
• Institutional Advancement - T-3 Building, Room 209
• Research Administration, Compliance, Learning, and Enhancement (ORACLE) remains remote.

HVAC (Air Conditioning) Replacement (Estimated Construction Time)

UPDATE: You may have noticed the ceilings are now exposed in Shuster. This is part of a new Phase Zero, that includes removal of the existing ceilings to permit accurate surveys to be made of the existing conditions. These surveys are necessary to create precise drawings that will be used to construct the new ductwork that will begin to be installed later this calendar year in the fall.
