Through hands-on fieldwork, Elaine Hualoto, a Recreation Therapy student intern, is gaining firsthand experience supporting healthy aging and community engagement at Plattduetsche Home Society.

Her feature in the LI Herald showcases how Lehman students are applying recreation therapy principles to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
