Career Exploration

Choosing a career is an exciting journey, and it is completely normal for the process to feel a little overwhelming at first. Making an informed decision begins with understanding your interests, strengths, skills, values, goals, and personality.

To get started, please complete the following career assessment:

Focus 2 is an online career exploration tool designed to help you learn more about yourself and explore potential career paths. It organizes information about your interests, skills, abilities, and values into a personalized summary and connects those results to real-world careers. After completing the assessment, you will receive a list of career options that align with your profile.

To create your account, use the access code ‘lightning.’

Once you have completed the assessment, schedule an appointment with your Career Specialist through Navigate to review your results, discuss possible career paths, and develop a plan for your next steps.
