Lehman's Broadens College Access for Local Students

Yonkers Promise will attract more students to Lehman.

College planning just got a little easier for Yonkers students. On June 8, Lehman College joined Yonkers Public Schools, Yonkers Partners in Education, and regional higher education institutions to launch the Yonkers Promise, a new college consortium that creates direct pathways to higher education. The initiative aims to reduce barriers to college enrollment and help more students take the next step toward earning a degree and achieving their goals.

Together, the partners are working to expand opportunity and make the path to college more straightforward for Yonkers students.
