Rosario Cecilio-Flores-Elie is on her way to Cornell University in pursuit of her PhD in geological sciences.
Cecilio-Flores-Elie first graduated from Lehman with a degree in Sociology. After spending some time teaching in The Bronx, she decided to return to Lehman for a second degree in Physics. Her passion for astronomy and astrophysics led her to join the Graduate Center’s inaugural cohort in their Astrophysics master’s program.
As she embarks on the next chapter of her journey at Cornell, Cecilio-Flores-Elie continues to aim for the stars and hopes to one day work for NASA.
