AI² Initiative

As Artificial Intelligence reshapes daily academic life, the Lehman College community must come together to address questions about the use of AI in the academic setting. Through structured dialogue events, the AI² initiative creates a shared space for faculty and students to engage in dialogue and reason through questions of academic integrity and artificial intelligence together, developing clearer expectations for the use of AI, addressing concerns, and examining the ethical issues AI raises. At its core, AI² is about building trust between faculty and students regarding the use of AI at Lehman.

Community Forum on AI and Academic Integrity

Join the Lehman College community for a forum bringing together faculty and students for a structured dialogue on artificial intelligence in higher education. The forum will open with a shared look at Lehman's academic integrity policy and its current interpretation as applied to AI. From there, faculty and students will engage in a facilitated dialogue to share their perspectives and explore the use of AI in the academic setting together. Participants will leave with a clearer, common understanding of the academic integrity concerns of A.I. and build mutual trust and shared expectations around AI use at Lehman
