What is your favorite thing about Lehman?

My favorite thing about Lehman is its diversity. I appreciate the different cultures, perspectives, and experiences represented on our campus. That diversity creates a welcoming community and makes Lehman a place where we can all learn from one another.

Why did you join the Mental Health Committee?

I decided to join the Mental Health Committee when I was invited to host one of the committee's Paint & Sip events. Seeing faculty and staff step away from their daily responsibilities to relax and express themselves creatively showed me how valuable those events are. I joined the committee because I believe mental well-being is important to a healthy campus community.

What's a fun fact about you?

Well, I consider myself a jack of all trades, and I've tried many things, but I think learning to juggle was one of the most fun activities I've tried.

What is your favorite self-care or stress relief activity?

Creating art is my favorite form of self-care. As an artist and educator, I use art to explore themes of identity, culture, and society. The creative process gives me time to reflect, recharge, and make sense of the world around me while creating work that encourages conversation and critical thinking.
