Biography

MIne Doyran

Dr. Mine Doyran is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Business Innovation at Lehman College, CUNY. She holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Iona College and a PhD in International Relations with a focus on International Political Economy from SUNY Albany. At Lehman, she teaches undergraduate courses in Strategic Management, Principles of Management, International Business Management, and Business Statistics. Her research interests include corporate governance, international corporate strategy, and the intersection of business and government. Dr. Doyran has received awards such as the CUNY Academy's Feliks Gross Endowment Award and the Irene Hammerbacher Memorial Award. Her book, Financial Crisis Management and the Pursuit of Power, examines regulatory responses to corporate governance failures in U.S. financial institutions. Prior to Lehman, she taught at Metropolitan College of New York and worked as a junior data analyst for a New York state agency. She also serves as an adjunct professor of Economics at Lehman and has taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
