Biography

Stephanie Adam

Dr. Stephanie Adam, M.S., D.B.A., SHRM-SCP is a full-time faculty member and MBA Program Coordinator for PennWest University in addition to working as an adjunct for several other universities including CUNY Lehman College. Prior to becoming a full-time educator, she worked part-time at several universities including Waynesburg University, Rasmussen College, Ohio Christian University, and California University of PA. Dr. Adam spent nearly eight years working in the Human Resources department of a small manufacturing company in western Pennsylvania. Her Doctorate is in Human Resource Management. Dr. Adam’s dissertation focused on the use of Corporate Volunteerism in Organizations, looking primarily at its effect on employee satisfaction. Her research interests include: MBA program innovation, corporate social responsibility, occupational burnout, mediocrity, and online education. Dr. Adam speaks frequently at conferences on the topic of Generational Differences in the Workplace. She holds the Advanced Teaching Certification from the Online Learning Consortium and is passionate about online course design.
