Biography
Professor Danielle Magaldi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, Literacy, and Special Education. She teaches early childhood development, behavioral change, and research methods at the graduate level, and advocates for the use of contemplative pedagogy and mindfulness in educator development. Her scholarship and research delve into two often overlooked areas: the impact of technology on human relationships and intimacy, and the perception of religion and spirituality within the field of psychology. Professor Magaldi's role extends beyond teaching and research. She mentors and provides clinical supervision for special education teachers and psychotherapists, leads a research lab that tackles pertinent questions in technology, and heads the human development and artificial intelligence team for the Council on Artificial Intelligence. Her extensive publication record and international presentations underscore her commitment to advancing these fields.
