Jevaughn Henrys: University of Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine: Class of 2025

Jevaughn, who hails from Brooklyn, graduated cum laude from Lehman in the spring of 2020, with an interdisciplinary major in anthropology, biology, and chemistry. He’s driven by a passion for community service: As an undergrad, he started a Global Medical Brigades chapter on campus, led medical mission trips to Nicaragua and Peru, and served on the executive boards of multiple pre-health organizations. He also became an advocate for service learning, where students apply classroom lessons to real-world volunteer roles; Jevaughn helped Dutchess Community College, where he received his associate’s degree, implement it into their curricula. Jevaughn earned a master's degree in biomedical sciences from the Dr. Kiran Patel College of Allopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University. Now, he’s a first-year student at the University of Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio, Texas.
