Jahnelle Howe


Jahnelle Howe Jahnelle Howe is a doctoral student in the EES Program at the CUNY Graduate Center (advisor Dr. Pant), NOAA EPP/MSI CESSRST fellow, and adjunct instructor in the department of Earth, Environmental, and Geospatial Sciences at Lehman College. Her research focuses on the sequestration and storage of blue carbon in mangrove ecosystems in tropical climates, analyzing what factors (human or natural) drive the rate of storage and sequestration, and how canopy height can affect these rates.
