Incorporating Group Work and Games to Engage Your Students Online

Description: In this interactive 75-minute session on Zoom, led by faculty Natasha Nurse-Clarke, Assistant Professor, Nursing, Lehman College, you will learn how to develop and incorporate group work and games using Zoom and Google Slides to develop a competitive puzzle tournament that simultaneously helps students to review and reinforce important course concepts. These approaches can be successfully applied in courses taught in diverse disciplines, no matter whether the course is delivered fully online or not.

Natasha Nurse-Clarke: Dr. Natasha Nurse-Clarke, is a Registered Nurse with a background in neonatal nursing, perinatal grief counseling and nursing education. Dr. Nurse-Clarke currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Lehman College, City Universtiy of New York (CUNY), in the Bronx, NY, where she is a leader in Online Education.
