Undergraduate Academic Advisement
The Office of Undergraduate Academic Advisement supports the College’s mission by providing accurate and comprehensive one-on-one advisement to all undergraduate students. Academic advisors guide students’ decisions, assisting undergraduates in identifying their educational and personal goals as they progress toward successful completion of their baccalaureate degrees.
The Office of Undergraduate Academic Advisement provides guidance to undergraduate students on matters relating to their academic program. Academic advisors assist students with course selection to meet General Education requirements, the exploration of possible majors and minors, and the creation of an academic plan. The office also provides guidance to students on the preparation of appeals, explains academic policies and procedures, and makes referrals to academic and student support resources on campus. Our advisors are dedicated to assisting students in reaching their academic and career goals, offering advisement services to new transfer and continuing students, and specialized services geared toward pre-nursing students, students pursuing professional programs in the health fields, and students in STEM majors.
