Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program combines classroom instruction with practical experience through an internship in a community-based medical practice or a hospital. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the occupation of medical assistant is expected to grow 34 percent in five years and they will become more and more an integral part of the health care system.

Certified Nursing Assistant

The class uses state-of-the-art simulation lab in this New York State Education Department-approved training for those seeking employment as CNAs in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and home health agencies. Students must successfully complete the course and clinical to be eligible to take the New York State credentialing examination. CNAs work directly with patients and their families providing quality patient care.

Dental Assistant

The 80-hour Dental Assistant program followed by a mandatory 40-hour externship prepares students for one of the fastest growing health care positions. The course familiarizes students with all areas of dental assisting and provides training in the professional skills required to function as an assistant in dental practice.
