Special Academic Sessions

Summer 2025 - Make-up, Catch-up, or Accelerate your degree!

Summer 2024 registration has ended. Registration for summer courses will open in April 2025!

Each summer, Lehman offers approximately 750 undergraduate and graduate courses across the curriculum. More than 5,000 continuing, new, and visiting students attend Lehman each summer. Our complete summer course schedule will be viewable in late March via CUNY's Global Search. Courses are available in day, evening, online, in-person, and hybrid formats. Applications will be accepted as soon as the summer schedule is viewable.

Summer Terms in 2025

 We hope that you will find courses that work for you in one or more of our accelerated summer terms! Tentative session schedules:

  • 11-week: June 2 - August 14
  • 4-week 1: June 2 - June 26
  • 6-week 1: June 2 - July 10
  • 4-week 2: July 14 - August 7
  • 5-week 2: July 14 - August 14

Application and Registration

We welcome students from other colleges, high school students, and non-degree students who are looking for specific courses for professional developement, personal interest, or to satisfy prerequisites for admission into a specific college program! If you are not currently a Lehman College student, please visit our Application and Registration page for information about how to apply and register for summer classes. Please note that anticipated processing time is 7-10 business days.

Lehman students who took courses in Spring 2024, Fall 2024, or Spring 2025 and have not graduated will automatically be assigned enrollment appointments for the summer session in early April and can self-register in Schedule Builder as long as they have no holds.
