Research and discovery at Lehman respond to the critical needs of the 21st century. Faculty and students collaborate to solve cutting-edge problems that range from seeking new antibiotics, solving food insecurity, ensuring privacy in technology, discovery new materials, and understanding the mechanisms of cancer. Disciplines involves in STEM research include anthropology, biological sciences, chemistry, computer science, environmental science, earth and geospatial sciences, exercise science, health science, mathematics, physics, political science, psychology, sociology and social work. STEM researchers address both basic and applied sciences.
