About Us

The GPS Program (Go. Persist. Succeed.), established in 2017, is Lehman’s largest first-time, full-time student academic advisement center, serving 4000+ students from their first year to the finish line. Our mission is to help shape students’ academic journey, ensuring growth and success in all facets of their intellectual, personal, and professional development. GPS strives to provide students with a supportive and enriched learning environment leading to a successful college transition, academic achievement, and retention toward graduation.

The GPS Program’s team of dedicated Academic Advisors assist students with a wide spectrum of services, including helping with their transition into college, understanding their degree requirements, maintaining academic momentum, and developing academic goals and semester course plans. In building strong longterm relationships with our students, our advisors are able to help students keep track of their academic progress and success all the way to graduation.

Founded in the Lehman college tradition of access to excellence, The GPS Program aims to be a national leader in the development and assessment of a dynamic and enriched learning environment of student achievement.
