ABOUT US

The Onboarding Advisement Office ensures a smooth transition for all entering undergraduate students into the Lehman College community, providing support and guidance from admission to first-semester registration. Designated onboarding academic advisors support entering freshman, transfer, readmitted, and second-degree students through various enrollment barriers and provide academic advisement through first-semester registration.

Our mission is to help shape the entering students’ transition experience into Lehman. Our office provides the foundational piece for long-term success at Lehman with dedicated onboarding academic advisors assisting students with a wide spectrum of services, including navigating common enrollment barriers, understanding their degree requirements, connecting students with academic and student support resources, and providing first-semester course plans.

Founded in the Lehman college tradition of access to excellence, The Onboarding Advisement Office will continue evolving to best meet the various needs of our students and institution.
