Student Resources

Tutoring

We want you to succeed. Lehman offers a wide range of tutoring and academic support services. From improving overall study habits to dedicated subject support, you’ll find the help you need to improve a grade or learn skills to help you manage competing demands. Take advantage of the varied support services Lehman has to offer. The Instructional Support Services Program is located in the Old Gym Building, Room 205.

Counseling

The Counseling Center at Lehman College offers free and confidential counseling services. It provides a safe space for students to address concerns regarding their academic goals or personal struggles and hardships. The Counseling Center is located in the Old Gym Building, Room 114.

Student Life

Lehman’s Office of Campus Life is a hub of student activity and involvement. From student government and leadership training programs to student clubs and organizations, you’ll find co-curricular and extracurricular activities designed to complement your college experience. The Office of Campus Life is located in the Student Life Building, Room 219.

Student Disability Services

Students with disabilities can access a wide range of services through the Office of Student Disability Services (SDS). Whether you require specific accommodations or are seeking general guidance on navigating campus life, SDS works with the entire Lehman community to help you achieve your academic goals. The Office of Student Disability Services is located in Shuster Hall, Room 238.

ID and Parking

Lehman College offers on-site student parking each semester. The Office of Administration and Finance provides complete information on parking eligibility, fees, and more. Parking passes are issued and validated in the Office of Campus Activities, Shuster Hall, Room 078.

The Office of Public Safety issues all student ID cards. Dual access ID cards can be used to access the student parking lot for those students utilizing the service. The Office of Public Safety provides complete details on ID schedules and fees. The ID Room is located in Shuster Hall, Room 079.

Child Care Center

Matriculated students are eligible for early childhood care through Lehman’s onsite Child Care Center. For students that require childcare services while they attend classes, the Child Care Center offers a convenient option for quality care that includes immersive experiences in art, music, movement, science, language arts, math, and more.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

The Financial Aid Office offers guidance on eligibility requirements and application process for various forms of financial aid. The office understands processing guidelines and compliance requirements at the local, state, and federal levels and is committed to providing assistance to all students seeking financial assistance to reach their academic goals. The Financial Aid Office is located in Shuster Hall, Room 136.

Study Abroad

The Office of International Programs and Community Engagement is committed to providing opportunities for students to engage in local, national, and international service-learning. It coordinates all aspects of the Lehman faculty-led, study abroad, and exchange programs. Its Study Abroad programs offer students opportunities to participate in engaging international academic experiences. The Office of International Programs and Community Engagement is located in Carman Hall, Room 337.

The Apex

The Apex, Lehman’s on-campus sports and fitness center, is free to all actively-enrolled Lehman students. Paid memberships are also available to Lehman employees, alumni, and CUNY students, as well as Bronx area residents and the general public. Featuring a 50-meter indoor pool, racquetball courts, fitness center, free weight room, indoor track, and more, The Apex is also home to Lehman College’s Athletics Department.
