CPR: BLS (Basic Life Support) with AED for Health Care Providers
Get your CPR certification in the Bronx! This course meets the requirements for National Certification for CPR from the American Heart Association (AHA). You’ll learn lifesaving techniques that will teach you how to respond to emergencies involving infants, children, and adults. Textbook must be brought to class.
CPR 100 / 1 session / 6 hours / Hybrid
First Aid (AHA Certification)
Learn the theory and practical skills of first aid as prescribed by the American Heart Association. Topics covered include first aid basics, and medical and injury emergencies.
MAS17 / 1 session / 3 hours / In-Person
CERTIFICATION
You must complete all required courses listed with a grade of C or better to earn a Lehman Certificate. To request your Lehman Certificate, please email ce@lehman.cuny.edu with “Certificate Request” as the subject line.
Infection Control
This is a 2-hour online training module. Our New York State mandated training course introduces, identifies, explains the risks, instructs on prevention, provides and explains common terms, definitions, and laws surrounding Infection Control. All medical professionals must complete course work or training in accordance with Section 239 of the Public Health Law at the time of their initial licensure/registration and every four years thereafter. This coursework is based on the chain of infection and proven methods to prevent the transmission of disease.
