This year Mind is celebrating the Centenary of Bertrand Russell's landmark essay 'On Denoting' with a Special Centenary Issue devoted to the essay. The 'On Denoting' Centenary issue, due out in October 2005, is edited by Stephen Neale and will contain articles by Ray Buchanan and Gary Ostertag, Richard L. Cartwright, David Kaplan, Saul Kripke, Alex Oliver and Timothy Smiley, Nathan Salmon, Stephen Schiffer, and Zoltán Gendler Szabó.

Calls for Papers
The Bertrand Russell Society is accepting submissions for the 2006 Central meeting of the APA, to be held in Chicago, April 26-29, at the Palmer House. Papers should bear on or exhibit some connection to Russell's life or work and not exceed what can be read in 30 minutes. The deadline for submissions is November 15, 2005. The History of Early Analytic Philosophy Society (HEAPS) invites talks for the 2006 Central meeting of the APA which address issues, persons, and developments of early analytic philosophy from a historical perspective.
