Volunteer Hours Submission
Thank you for your commitment to volunteering! Our office is committed to supporting students in tracking their volunteer hours. We now use the Lehman Club Central Experiences module to ensure accurate and efficient hour tracking.
As a student, if you volunteered on campus through a program advertised through Lehman Community Engagement, we coordinate with the office you volunteered with to record your hours. If you volunteered independently through a different program, you will need to submit your hours manually.

Non-Eligible Activities for Volunteer Hours
To maintain the integrity of our volunteer hours tracking and align with national standards for volunteer service, the activities listed below are excluded from counting as eligible volunteer hours:
- Compensated Service: Any service for which compensation is received, including money, stipends, academic credit, or other forms of compesation.
- Religious Activities: Activities primarily focused on religious proselytising, instruction, outreach, or spreading specific religious messages or doctrines.
- Political Volunteering: Efforts that directly support specific political candidates or parties.
- Court-Ordered Community Service: Services mandated by a court order.
- Travel and Downtime: Time spent traveling to and from the service location, as well as breaks for meals and rest.
- Non-Qualifying Campus Activities: While organizing or participating in events that benefit the broader campus community is eligible, routine club activities such as regular meetings or internal organizational tasks do not qualify.

How to Submit Your Volunteer Hours
If you are a student and are ready to submit your volunteer hours, please follow the instructions below to ensure your hours are accurately recorded.
- Access the Portal: Open a new tab and visit https://lehman.campuslabs.com/engage/.
- Sign In: Click on “Sign In” at the top left corner and enter your CUNYfirst credentials.
- Navigate to Experiences: After signing in, click your initial on the top right-hand side to open the User Drawer, then select "Experiences."
- Add Experience: In the Experiences section, click "Add Experience" and select "Volunteer Hours Submission."
- Enter Details: Complete the form with your volunteer event details. Ensure you have your proof of service (email, form, etc.) ready for upload.
