Looking ahead to graduate school? Prepare now for the admissions test to achieve your best score. You will intensively review math content (algebra, geometry), reading comprehension (vocabulary, synonyms) and essay writing to prepare for the three sections of the GRE General Test: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. To enrich your experience, you will learn about the history and ethics of standardized testing and the GRE. The course is in a hybrid format including both live/online Zoom sessions, taught by an expert GRE prep Lehman College professor, and study on Blackboard.

This math skills course helps prepare students for the newly revised New York City Specialized High School Admissions Test for Bronx High School of Science, Stuyvesant High School, Brooklyn Tech- nical High School and certain CUNY-based high schools. Math skills and test-taking strategies are covered.

This verbal skills course helps prepare students for the revised New York City Specialized High School Admission Test for Bronx High School of Science, Stuyvesant High School, Brooklyn Technical High School and certain CUNY-based high schools. Verbal skills and test-taking strategies are covered.
YPP 191 5 sessions / 10 hours / LEHC
Students are engaged in extensive math practice and drills while in class and are taught strategies to use while taking the exam.
YPP 192 5 sessions / 10 hours / LEHC
All verbal topics in the exam are covered: writing, including the essay, questions on grammar and usage; and critical reading. Test- taking strategies are included.
YPP 193 5 sessions / 10 hours / LEHC
When you take a CLEP exam, you can select the institution that should receive your scores. An official score report will automatically be forwarded to the school. You will also receive an unofficial copy of your score for your records immediately after the examination (except for College Composition). If you do not indicate where you would like your score sent when you register, you can always request a transcript at a later time for a fee. Just submit the Transcript Request Form - it’s available on the CLEP website.
