Meet the HRA Pathways Team

Ralph Dickinson, Program Director

Ralph Dickinson, Program Director, has worked for CUNY since 2016. He has worked in education and social work for over 20 years. He has managed programs and provided instruction in a variety of subjects including technology skills, visual arts, health education, independent living skills, disability justice, writing and math. He holds an MA in Education with a Concentration in Instructional Technologies from San Francisco State University and a BA in Humanities from UC Berkeley.  

 

Alfred Paulino, Program Manager

Alfred Paulino, Program Manager, has worked for CUNY since 2019. He earned his BBA in Finance with a minor in political science from CUNY Baruch College. He has eight years of experience working in higher education and non-profits, focusing on program and business development. While at CUNY, Alfred has supported internship-based programs and assisted students with education and career development. 

Danielle Whyte, Education and Vocational Case Manager

Danielle Whyte has worked with CUNY for over two years; Danielle has a long and rich history in the education field. Danielle was a teacher, curriculum developer, and after-school facilitator for the NYC Department of Education. Danielle has worked for the Fortune Society, as an educator, case manager, advisor, museum liaison, and volunteer coordinator for programs. From a young age, Danielle knew education was her calling.  Immigrating from the U.S. Virgin Islands and then growing up in the South Bronx raised by a single mother, Danielle remembers how her own educational experiences felt like a haven and works to this day to foster profound and positive educational and vocational experiences for others.  Danielle has a BA from SUNY Binghamton University and an MS in Urban Education from Mercy College.

Courtney Heverling, Garden Manager

Courtney Heverling, Garden Manager, is a Hollis Gardens Apartments resident who has worked in the Hollis Community Garden since 2018. She participated in our supported employment program, working for our vendor Project EATS as a resident farmer starting in 2020. In 2022, she became our program’s part-time Garden Manager, putting her previous training to use to keep the garden thriving and to train other tenants and community members in gardening skills.
