Felipe Galindo (Feggo) was born in Cuernavaca, Mexico in 1957.  He graduated from the National University of Mexico's School of Visual Arts and now lives and works in New York City. Specializing in humorous art, Galindo’s projects include fine art, public art, illustration, cartoons and animation. His graphic work has been exhibited and published extensively around the world, and is featured in many public and private collections. He is the recipient of international awards and grants including the "People's Choice Award" Omiya Festival, Japan, the New York Foundation for Arts "E. Boe Humor Award" the MCAF Grant, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, NY, the NALAC Fund for the Arts Grant, and the US / México Fund for Culture Grant.

Galindo’s Manhatitlan project is an on-going series created over twenty years ago.  Consisting of a series of artworks on paper and two animation films, the work is inspired by the intertwining of Mexican and American cultures.  Galindo’s public art includes a faceted glass panel installation at the 231st Street train station, #1 train line in the Bronx.
