Timothy Alborn is Professor of History at Lehman College and the CUNY Graduate Center. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1991 and has been teaching at Lehman since 1998. His academic research is on the cultural history of money and capitalism in Britain during the eighteenth and nineneeth centuries, and he has taught courses on modern British and European history, the history of popular music, and the history of science. He has been academic director of the MA in Liberal Studies at Lehman since 2015, and is happy to talk to current and prospective students about the many different ways they can get the most out of the program.

Pamela S. Hinden, LMSW, has been the Director of the Adult Degree Program at Lehman College since 2014. Prior that that, she was the Director of Employee Training at a large non-profit organization in the Bronx. She has taught adult students in a wide variety of settings including community college and senior college classes, inside a women's prison, and on-site in corporate and community organizations. She is a licensed social worker with a background in career counseling and psychotherapy. Pam earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies at the University of Maryland College Park and a Master's degree in social work at NYU.
