Leonard Lief Library has been proud to host the library’s Ivy chatbot since November 2019.
The LightningBot is a virtual assistant that provides 24/7 text conversations to answer your Library questions using Ivy ’s artificial intelligence technology, which is powered by OpenAI ’s ChatGPT 4o algorithm.
Ivy is best suited to answer basic questions such as library hours, books, services, and more. Research and article requests are best handled by the Library’s 24/7 Online Chat
If Ivy cannot answer your question, fill out a ticket and the library will respond in within two business days or refer to the Library’s 24/7 Online Chat
Our bot is shared with Lehman’s Blackboard administrator, and it can also answer questions on topics related to Blackboard.
