Hello, there.
I'm Michael, or Mike...whatever you like best. I want to tell you
something I learned when I went to the hospital. See, I got this operation
to fix a kidney
problem that I had. When I was asleep (a special kind of sleep that happens
when you get sleep medicine for operations), the doctor put some tiny tubes
in my body to give my ureters a chance to heal. Ureters are little tubes
that actually belong in your body. They attach your kidney to your bladder.
Anyway, when I was ready to go home from the hospital, everyone told
me that it was time to take the tubes out that the doctor had put in. Of
course I was worried, since I wasn't going to get the sleep medicine this
time. I was going to be awake. Well, here's the good news. It didn't hurt
at all! So if you have to have tubes in your body, you don't need to worry
about what will happen when it's time for them to come out. You can just
relax, and before you know it, bingo, they're gone! |
