A scavenger hunt is lots of fun. To play, you'll have to think hard about the questions on this page, and then fly off to search for the answers on some of the other pages. Get the idea? If you find all of the right answers, I'll put your name and your picture on the web, if that's OK with your parents. Then, everyone will be able see what a genius you are!

just waiting for you to discover them!
1. This is the part of your blood that soaks up oxygen, just like a sponge soaks up water. It carries the oxygen all around your body, so that every little piece of you can breathe it in.
2. Have you ever put a plug in a drain so that the water can't leave the sink? Well, this is the part of your blood that makes plugs for all of your cuts and scrapes. This part has a pretty neat job, because it can stop the bleeding if you get hurt or have an operation.
3. Pretend that you have a medical problem that your classmates don't know about. Can you find three reasons why you might want to tell your friends about it?
4. If you do lots of these, you'll have a pretty good idea about what an operation on your belly feels like.
5. Want to know what it feels like to have an asthma attack? Just find one of these, and you'll be able to tell.
