You may
have a hard time figuring out who I am under all of these funny clothes,
but I can see you just fine...that is, I could if you were in the hospital
with me! My name is Chris, and I'm getting some strong medicine to get
better. The problem is, the medicine doesn't know the difference between
cells that help me and cells that hurt me, so it messes up the cells in
my body that protect me from germs while it's doing its good work!
What that means is that I have to use a different type of protection for awhile. Bet you guessed what it is! That's right...the gown, the mask, and the gloves are sort of like the armor that the knights used to wear in the old days. They protect me from everybody else's germs, so that I can come out of my hospital room to play. If you'd like to see me with my brothers, tap me on my nose. That is, if you can find it! |
