Here I am
with my Dad. He is one special person, and whenever he comes to visit me,
I cheer right up. He does all sorts of things to help me feel better, like
putting a rubber glove on his head and blowing up the fingers. Makes him
look sort of like a rooster, and it makes me laugh!
Can you see the chair back by the window? Well, it opens up like a little bed, so either my Mom or my Dad can spend the night with me. If you have to come to the hospital, you may want one of your parents to stay over, too. Of course, lots of times parents aren't able to stay, and that's why it's so important to have good nurses there to take care of you night and day! |
